Entrepreneurial Activities

Once I enter the work force, I plan to be in a career that allows me to keep solving puzzles. This desire stems from what I am doing with the Idea Fund at Dickinson College. The Idea Fund at Dickinson is a student run revolving loan fund which provides capital to students to implement projects and business around campus. Working with them I’ve been able to help take student’s ideas, and shape them into feasible projects. I get to solve the puzzle of how to make a dream a reality.

This is the type of work I want to do in the future. Whether it is with a private equity firm, finding small startups and helping them grow, or working for a startup directly to help shape it into a fundable venture. I am interested in any career path to achieve this goal.
