Mark Erickson

Mark Erickson has spent his career working in advertising, marketing and brand development, most notably for Marvel Comics, NASCAR and Lionel Trains. Most recently, Erickson served as Lionel’s executive vice president, where he oversaw all aspects of the day-to-day business, in addition to its new business development and licensing initiatives. Prior to joining Lionel in 2004, Erickson worked with Calabrese at their own business development agency, GSC Marketing, where they helped develop NASCAR’s highly successful 50th Anniversary and its first marketing effort aimed at kids, NASCAR Racers; as well as a re-launch of boxing on NBC in 2003 -2004. At Marvel Entertainment Group, Mark oversaw all brand, promotion and creative programs for the publishing and entertainment properties. He began his career at advertising agency, Dancer-Fitzgerald-Sample (now Saatchi and Saatchi), and graduated from Duke University with a degree in English and Political Science.
