Dan Lipson

Dan is currently co-founder/chairman of EMERGING ARTIST NETWORK, LLC and an active investor in start-ups. He recently sold Camp Jam LLC, a music education company with programs in twenty-four cities in the US and Canada.

Prior to starting Camp Jam in 2004, he was CEO of Leading Edge Promotions, Inc., a sports promotions company specializing in youth programs for BPAA, USTA and PGA. It was acquired in 2006 by KR Industries, Inc.

In 1999, he founded causelink.com, an online auction for nonprofits. In 1993, Dan was cofounder/CEO of ExL Corp, a licensed merchandise catalog and television production company including NASCAR, Indy Car, NHRA and Ducks Unlimited. The company was acquired by Genesis Direct, now part of QVC in 1999.

Before launching his entrepreneurial career, Dan worked for ESPN as GM of Home Entertainment. He and his wife, Sue, live in Great Barrington, MA with two of their four children. They serve on several nonprofit boards including Berkshire Country Day School and Mahaiwe Performing Arts. Dan is a long-standing member of Young Presidents Organization. He holds a BS from American University’s School of Public Policy. Dan still considers himself an emerging artist playing guitar in numerous bands over the years.
